Earth's Linkiest Heroes
Whedonesque okay so supposedly Joss Whedon started shooting The Avengers today. I've long said this movie will never happen so if cameras are actually rolling (do people still say that anymore with digital cameras?) and they don't stop production at some point unexpectaly I'll be totes wrong. And I'll be happy to be wrong (so long as the movie is good.)

Acidemic remembered Jesus, via Franco Zefferilli, for Easter. I did such a bad job with Easter at the blog. I didn't even post a bunny picture. What's wrong with me? I'm normally such a holiday-friendly guy. Do you have a favorite Jesus portrayal from film or television?

My High School Boyfriend Was Gay have you seen this new humor site? Prom photos are the best for unintentional comedy. You woudn't believe mine but, no, I won't ever be sharing it.
The Awl on friendships with the unemployed.
Omaha I'm sharing this link about a tattoo artist just because of his following quote from the tattoo artist to your right on the rise of intricate realistic tattoos.
“You can put beautiful art on the body just as you can put beautiful art on the wall. I spent nine hours putting a tattoo of Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman on one guy.
Nobody loves La Pfeiffer more than me but I couldn't wear her face on my body for the rest of my days. Do any of you have tattoos? I'm squeamish about them but I'm always curious as to what motivates others to get them.

I have 4 tattoos. Once you get one, you will want many. They are addictive.
I don't want tattoos. As an actor I have to be a blank palette. Sure, there's stage makeup and stuff, but I just don't want anything like that permanently on my body. Especially when there's nothing that I feel SO passionately about painting on my body that I'd still feel the same way 20 years down the road.
See, I'm a senior in high school, and it kinda scares me that many of my friends are going out and getting tattoos (especially cuz we're all performers as I go to an arts school) simply because they can now; we're all legal. I just think that's something that should take a lot of consideration and not be taken lightly. I'm just not the tattoo type, although at one point I thought I would be.
That's the same with me Phillip. Now that we're 18 everyone wants or got a tattoo. I could never do it though.
Yeah, it's silly. I just hope they don't regret what's on their body however many years down the road.
Nathaniel, are you going to do a "Yes, No, Maybe So" for The Help?
i saw every movie from "The 10 Films People Most Lie About Seeing: What Classic Movie Have You Pretended to See?" and i thank my older sister for it :when i was 5, we watched together some classic movies because she's insomniac
Didn't know Laura Linney had 3 Emmys (don't follow them that much) but can we exchange them for an Oscar?
One of my friends has Bill Murray tatooed on her upper arm. That is all.
Who made that graphic? Chris Hemsworth's surname is not Thor!!
"My High School Boyfriend Was Gay"... FTW! Almost as awesomely hilarious as this.
One of my favorite Jesus portrayals has got to be the hot pool guy from Mary's vision in 'Saved!'
LOL at the Thor arrow!
yes, i did know the lovely laura linney was an undefeated emmy champ
she's an all or nothing gal
emmys - 3 noms, 3 wins
oscars - 3 noms, 0 wins
tonys - 3 noms, 0 wins
I have 4 tattoos, but they aren't particuly nig. Agree with the first poster, they are addictive, once you get 1, you want more. I personally love all of mine, and want more.
I don't know why people get so worried about how they're gonna look when they are old, who cares, you're gonna be old and wrinkly anyway, a tattoo is gonna be the least of your worries!!!
I would'nt get a face though, its a little creepy, unless it was someone historical and great, or fictional...
BBats -- glad someone caught it.
Anthony -- sorry buddy ;) I'm refusing to acknowledge it.haha. I am still pissed for alexander skarsgard.
par3182 -- those are some crazy statistics. and always 3 everywhere. so if she gets another emmy nod does that mean that oscar and tony nods need to go up to 4 as well?

Here's a link to someone with Cher tattoos
Yup some people have one Cher tattoo, others have 11
some have her face.
I don't have any :D
nathaniel -- they will
Thank God I did not look like any of those people for my prom, although my shoes were so shiny that they were obviously a rental.
My favorite Jesus portrayal: TV's "The Book of Daniel." If Jesus were alive today, he'd totally be a straight talker like Garret Dillahunt on the show. That show was kinda epic! I still am so angry at the AFA for forcing its cancellation.
