I cant shake this feeling that the ending of Hereditary was simply a rushed cookie cutter horror ending wrapped in a classic, subtle horror package? It all just switched into bonkers mode too easily yknow? Not a wrong ending, just didn’t have enough set up.

After a character goes up in flames so does the movie.

Loved Hereditary as much as you can possibly love something that tries to murder your soul.

The ending of Hereditary doesn't come out of nowhere -- the entire film sets it up methodically, if you're paying attention.
