''Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man'

We'd be remiss not to share photos of the men of the 91st Academy Awards. Who wins your best dressed among the men? Despite Rami's perpetually crooked tie, Christian Bale's typical black on black (we didn't include him -- you've seen it dozens of times over the years), and the weird choice of shoes that did strange things to Stephan James (making him look shorter and more childlike), most of the men really stepped it up on Sunday. Men's fashion has been ever-so-slightly more daring this season...

Samuel L Jackson, Viggo Mortensen, Ant-Man, Captain America, Rami

Winston Duke, Michael B Jordan, Jason Momoa, Stephan James, Chadwick Boseman

Diego Luna, Adam Lambert, Tom Morrell, Henry Golding, Trevor NoahSpike Lee, Sam Elliott with his wife Katharine Ross, and Richard E Grant with his daughter OliviaThe Favourites Nicholas & Joe, and Billy Porter and his husband Adam Smith

I'm not a fashion guy at all, but I really liked Michael B. Jordan's blue-on-black look.

February 27, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterMDA

I'm fascinated by Michael B. Jordan's jacket. Love the blue/black creases.

Nicholas Hoult wins!

That entire second row, from Winston to Chadwick, is FASHION.

February 27, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterHustler

Evans, Hoult, Porter.

Henry Golding oh my days, my eyes are pregnant.

Brian Tyree Henry looked great on the red carpet as well.

I think Spike had the outstanding look.

I also think Henry Golding and Nicholas Hoult look great.

And Viggo is, as always, both handsome and beautiful.

I'm here for Katherine Ross.

Mark -- me too. was so happy to see her.

anonny -- i also loved Spike's look (purple is my favourite color). But for my best best dressed men, I'm going with

1. Nicholas Hoult
2. Billy Porter
3. Michael B Jordan
4. Henry Golding
5. Spike Lee

... I loved Winston Duke's tux in theory but the style of it feels like it would be more flattering on someone who was rake thin... just one of those styles (nothing wrong with different body shapes, don't misread!... just certain designs look better on particular body shapes)

Absolutely loved the looks worn by James (including the shoes), Hoult, and Golding.

I find myself anticipating men's fashion now more than I do the ladies. It's nice to see guy trying more, although I'll admit the velvet trend is starting to become a bit too predictable. (No one can top Armie Hammer's look from last year's Oscars!)

My favorite was Nicholas Hoult, as well. Who knew he'd grow up to be so handsome? And at the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, I did love Chris Evans and Stephan James' looks, but I'm not sure if it's just because I want to sleep with them. LOL.

My top choice is Nicholas Hoult hands down and Mahershala who is not listed here (not sure why, he always looks terrific). And bonus points to all the men who try something different than the same suit and shape. C´mon fellas, you are not soldiers! Fashion should not be a uniform. Be bold, be creative. I was expecting more from Rami Malik, considering his previous looks during the awards circuit. Spike Lee looked like a bus driver from a Wes Anderson movie. I missed Timothee Chalamet this year!

Who doesn't have a crush on Paul Rudd?

February 28, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterTyler

Tom -- i didn't include Mahershala because bizarrely i could not find a full length photo of him alone on the red carpet -- just upper half or with other people.

Scott -- you dont think the shoes make his proportions look bizarre? I've seen him in real life and he is breathtaking and I thought this outfit made me looks so 'you must be this tall to take this ride' strange.

It's great that the men are getting more daring with color and style. I really love Henry Goulding and Nicholas Hoult (although I wanted to know what happens with the fabric once he takes his hand out of his pocket). The Billy Porter look is great - instantly iconic.

Chadwick Boseman - Beautiful. Love it.
Jason Momoa - the colour is fabulous on him. Tall dark and handsome men should wear pink more often.
Nicholas Holt - I would love to see this in a different colour but the cut and flow is perfect.
