But IT'S ALWAYS FAIR WEATHER is extremely underrated.
"Singin' in the Rain" is so good that it still has the same impact than when it was released. It doesn't feel old by any means.
I just saw It's Always Fair Weather for the first time (it was on TCM Monday). Cute!
They made a sexy couple - you can find a dance scene that was deleted from "It's Always Fair Weather' on you tube.
I'm a big fan of Cyd. That infamous Oscar opening number back in the 1980's with Snow White included a brief little dance by Cyd Charisse, and she looked fabulous. Also, Janet Jackson got Cyd to do a small part in one of her music videos. Ms.Charisse was so much a part of that wonderful movie-making in the 1950's. Love her!!!
