Cinema Blend more trouble for Netflix. This worries me so. Nobody should wish death on DVD services since Netflix had such a better selection than most services and any service that has more films is good for film buffs. The scarcity of older films is so scary.

Almost all legendary stars of the past and present have persona, style, and a technique that works for them. Allowing the world to know who they are. If there's something wrong with mannered, explain Hepburn and Davis?

I hated it when Netflix switched their structure and, due to economics, I had to switch to streaming only (if I lived by myself I might have stayed with DVD only, but my partner watches a lot of streamed programs.) That they are going to switch away from movies to TV shows exclusively raises the level of concern to WTF? Just a couple of weeks ago I streamed the restored "Metropolis" (someone we fantasized about being able to see when I was in college), "Cabaret", and a silent actioner with John Barrymore I'd never heard of, "The Beloved Rogue" in which he is completely charming and I enjoyed watching thoroughly. To drive away all the film fans that have put the company where it is is sheer madness, says I.
